Cookie Policy
We keep cookies to the minimum the product genuinely needs. Nothing here is used to build an advertising profile of you.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. They let a site remember things
between requests — that you are signed in, for example. We also use closely related
browser storage such as localStorage and sessionStorage, and
this policy covers those too.
2. The categories we use
Strictly necessary
These make the site and platform work. They cannot be switched off through a consent banner, because without them you could not sign in or stay signed in. Under the ePrivacy Directive they do not require consent.
| Purpose | Set by | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication session — keeps you signed in | Openbiznis (first party) | Session to 30 days |
| Session refresh token — renews the session securely | Openbiznis (first party) | Up to 30 days |
| Multi-factor state — records that step-up verification passed | Openbiznis (first party) | Session |
| Security and abuse prevention — CSRF protection | Openbiznis (first party) | Session |
| Interface preferences — sidebar state, chosen views | Openbiznis (first party) | Up to 12 months |
| Consent record — remembers your cookie choice | Openbiznis (first party) | Up to 12 months |
Analytics — only with your consent
Where enabled, these tell us in aggregate which pages are read and where visitors drop off, so we can improve the site. They are not set unless you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
| Purpose | Set by | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Aggregate page and traffic measurement | Analytics provider (see sub-processors) | Up to 13 months |
Advertising
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on openbiznis.com.
3. Third-party content
Some pages link to services operated by others — our demo booking runs on Calendly, for example. If you follow such a link, that provider's own cookie policy applies to what happens on their site. We do not control those cookies.
4. Managing cookies
- Use the cookie banner or preferences link to give or withdraw consent for non-essential cookies.
- Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings — look for "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data".
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in to Openbiznis.
5. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure service, and are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Slovakia. All other cookies are set only on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
6. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie category we will update this page and, where consent is required, ask for it again. The date at the top reflects the current version.
